Moonlight Walk 2013

Hey guys, hope you are all well. On Saturday I participated in the Moonlight Walk 2013 in Greenock to raise money for the hospice. I've never really done any charity events before but had seen this for the past few years and decided this was the year. It was a 10k (just over 6 miles), starting at 10pm and it was ladies only with the theme being pink. Well needless to say I took the theme and ran with it. Sorry for the horrid photos.

All in all it was a great wee night. Everyone was really supportive. It took me just over 2 hours and my legs are still aching, totally worth it though. I ended up raising £115 which I'm really proud of. There was over 400 ladies taking part and I've just found out that we raised a combined total of over £45,000 which is absolutely phenomenal. I had such fun and I definitely think I'll be doing it again next year.
